1. Legal framework
The use of cookies in Slovenia is governed by Article 225 of the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), which implements the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended by 2009/136/EC), and — where cookies involve personal data — by the GDPR and ZVOP-2. Under these rules, storing information on your device or accessing it is permitted only with your prior consent, except for cookies that are strictly necessary for the provision of a service you have explicitly requested.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer or mobile device. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels and device fingerprinting; the same consent rules apply to all of them.
3. Cookies on this website — current state
This website sets no tracking cookies at all. No analytics, no marketing, no third-party trackers. The only thing stored on your device is the record of your own cookie choice, made through the cookie notice — which is strictly necessary and therefore exempt from consent under Article 225 of ZEKom-2.

On your first visit a cookie notice offers Accept all, Adjust and Decline. Because no optional cookies exist yet, all three choices currently lead to the same, tracking-free experience — but your choice is recorded and will be respected the moment any optional category is introduced. You can review or change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.
4. If cookies are introduced in the future
Should we introduce analytics, embedded content (e.g. video players, maps) or any other technology subject to consent, we will, before any such cookie is set:
- display a clear cookie notice with the options to accept, refuse or configure by category — refusing will be as easy as accepting;
- load such cookies only after your explicit consent, which you will be able to withdraw at any time as simply as it was given;
- update the table above with each cookie's name, provider, purpose and lifetime;
- keep a record of given consents in line with Article 7 GDPR.
Pre-ticked boxes or "cookie walls" that make access conditional on consent are not used, in line with the case law of the Court of Justice of the EU (C-673/17 — Planet49) and the guidance of the Slovenian Information Commissioner.
